1) To get started, download Odin and CWM recovery for Galaxy Trend Plus to your computer. Once done, extract the Odin package and launch Odin window. Next, extract the CWM recovery package and save the extracted recovery.tar.md5 file in your desktop.

2) Now, switch off your smartphone. Once done, press and hold the Home Button, Volume Down Button and Power Button simultaneously for few seconds to boot into the Download mode.

3) Once your device boots into Download mode, connect it to your computer using the original USB data cable. If you have installed the USB drivers properly, Odin will identify your device and it will show “Added” message. Also, the ID:COM will be in blue color.

4) Now, click the “PDA” button in Odin and select the recovery.tar.md5 from your desktop.

5) Next, untick all the fields under Options in Odin and click on “Start” button to begin the flashing process. It will take a minute or two to get completed and once it does, Odin will show a green “PASS” message.

6) Now, disconnect your device computer and reboot your smartphone.
