1) Before getting started with any rooting procedure, it is important to take backup of personal data in your smartphone. So, take a complete backup of personal data in your smartphone using appropriate apps.

2) Now, enable USB Debugging under USB computer connection in your smartphone.

3) Next, install Lenovo P70-A USB driver in your computer so that you can connect your Lenovo smartphone with the computer successfully.

4) Ensure that you deactivated or uninstalled antivirus programs in your computer as they tend to interrupt the rooting process. Also, make sure that your device has at least 50-60% battery backup in it before getting started with the rooting procedure.

1) To get started, download Lenovo P70-A Root package and extract it into a folder in your computer.

2) Now, dial *#*#3646633#*#* in your smartphone to open up the “EngineerMode” menu. Once done, select the “Log and Debugging” tab and click on “User2Root“.

3) Under “User2Root” click on “Root” option. Once done, connect your smartphone to the computer using the original USB data cable.


4) Now, open up the folder where you extracted the root package and run the RootKitKat.bat to begin the rooting process.


5) Once the rooting process is finished, your device will reboot automatically. Upon reboot, SuperSU app will automatically get installed in your device.
