Xposed Framework for Lollipop
Xposed Framework for Lollipop
Installation Guide
It was like a valentine day gift for some who got Xposed working on their phones running on Lollipop. The developer has been working hard to provide the most popular android framework to the Lollipop users.
If you were missing your favorite Xposed module only because you’re running on a Lollipop based phone can install the alpha build of the Xposed framework, which was released a couple of days ago. As mentioned, the build is currently on alpha stage and may possible cause bootloops once you flash it.Certain Samsung users running on stock ROMs have got boot loops and it’s not suggested to try if you’re on stock ROM unless the developer provides a fix or new build. However, I personally tried it on my Moto G running on Lollipop and working without any flaws. The installation isn’t so direct and you need a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP to run Xposed in your phone. Let’s see how you can install Xposed Framework on your phone running in Lollipop android version.
Pre-requisites
#. You need full root access with SuperSU or SuperUser installed.
#. You must have a custom recovery to flash the additional files.
#. Make a Nandroid backup before proceeding to next step as it’s highly risky.
How to Install Xposed Framework on Lollipop
1. Download the Lollipop supported Xposed apk from here and the additional zip package to flash from here.
2. Once you download both the files, reboot your phone into custom recovery.
3. Now choose the zip file which you have downloaded and flash it.
4. After flashing the file, wipe Cache and Dalvik. Then reboot system.
5. Install the Xposed apk now.

So that was installing Xposed framework on Android Lollipop. The developer has promised to release a stable version as fast as possible. Most of the modules are supported up to KitKat only as of now and you have to wait a little more to avail all of those modules.
