Learn how to set up ADB and Fastboot on your Windows computer if you do not have it up and running already. Those of you who have followed one of our guides before and still have it on the computer do not need to set it up a second time provided you haven’t deleted it from your computer.

Download the ClockworkMod recovery custom recovery you need to help root the device from this link.

Download the Fastboot file from this link.
Connect your Google Nexus 5 handset to the computer using the USB cable.
Transfer the SuperSU file over to the root of the internal storage SD card,
