Step 1: Download the SuperSU zip package from the above downloads section.
Step 2: Transfer it to the root of your device’s internal or external storage.
Step 3: Boot LG G3 into Recovery Mode.
Power off LG G3.
Press and hold Volume Down and power buttons together.
Once the LG logo appears, release the keys and then press them again.
Step 4: Once you are in CWM/ TWRP Recovery follow the tutorial listed here and install SuperSU zip package on LG G3.
Step 5: Reboot LG G3 and check for Root Permissions using Root Checker App.
