2) Next, download Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge USB driver and install it in your computer. After installing the USB driver, you will be able to connect your device with computer successfully.

3) Now, enable Developer Options in your device by following this path: Settings -> About Phone -> Build Number (tap on it for 7 times to enable Developer Options). Once done, enable USB debugging mode by following this path: Settings -> Developer Options -> USB debugging.

4) Next, ensure that you have uninstalled or deactivated antivirus programs from your computer as they tend to disrupt the rooting procedure. Also, make sure that your device has at least 50-60% battery backup in it before getting started with the rooting tutorial.

Tutorial To Root Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Smartphone

1) To get started, download CF Auto Root package for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) and extract it to a folder in your computer. Next, download Odin, extract its package and launch its window.

2) Now, switch off your smartphone and boot it into the download mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down, Power and Home buttons simultaneously.

3) Once your device boots into download mode, connect it to your computer using the original USB data cable. If you have installed the USB drivers of your device properly in the computer, Odin will identify your device and it will show “Added” message in its “Logs“. Also, the ID:COM section in Odin will turn into Blue color.

4) Now, click on the “PDA” button in Odin and select the .tar file from the folder where you have extracted the CF Auto Root package (Step 1). Once done, click on “Start” button to begin the flashing process.

5) The flashing process will take a minute or two to get completed and once it does, you will get a green “PASS” message in Odin. Your device will automatically reboot as well.

That’s it. Now you have successfully finished rooting Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Android smartphone. For confirmation, open up your Apps menu and look for SuperSU app. If you can find it there, your device is rooted successfully. Alternatively, you can confirm the root privileges of your smartphone by using the Root Checker for Android app from Google Play Store.
