How to root Lenovo Vibe K5

How to Flash twrp recovery on Vibe K5.

1.Download  TWRP Recovery for Vike K5.

2.Download Minimal fast boot and install it on the desktop.

3.Download latest SuperSUv2.65.zip and place it in your internal memory.

4. Now turn OFF you Mobile.

5.Then Turn On it again By holding (Volume down button and power button) at the
same time for 6 sec and release it you will again see the bootloader.Now plug your device into your PC.

6.Then copy twrp.img that you Downloaded above and paste it into the mfastboot folder.

7. Now navigate to mfastboot folder where you installed earlier.
Hold the shift key and right click on the mouse the in any blank space
in that folder, you will see open command window here click on that.

8.Now type the below code in command prompt and hit enter.
Note
:recovery.img is the name of the TWRP recovery that you downloaded  above
steps so you can rename according to the name of the file that you
paste in the Mfastboot folder.

9.You have successfully flashed TWRP Recovery in your Lenovo Vibe K5 running on android lollipop.

How to Root Lenovo Vibe K5 using Supersu
1.Download  Super su v2.68.zip and place it in your device memory

2.Then reboot your device into recovery mode.

3.Tap on “Install” in recovery mode and the select Super su v2.68.zip from your memory where you pasted it in 1st step.

4.Now After selecting the .zip file do “Swipe to confirm flash” at the bottom of the screen.

5.Once Flashed the Super su v2.68.zip files reboot your device. Done!
