Its highlight is the pair of stereo speakers at the back with Dolby ATMOS audio support. It also features 1080p display, Snapdragon octa-core processor, 13-megapixel rear camera and 4G LTE support.
Display and Configuration
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes in a plastic body with a chrome finish for added style. It has a width of 71mm and weighs 142 grams, having no flimsy parts and making it comfortable to hold. The 5.0-inch capacitive touch screen has a full HD 1,080p resolution along with a pixel density of 441ppi which provide sharp and vibrant images. The brightness of the K5 Plus also remains adequate under bright conditions.

The device houses a powerful octa-core (quad-core,1.5GHz, Cortex A53 + quad-core, 1.2GHz, Cortex A53) Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 chipset supported by 2GB RAM making operations smooth and lag free. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop as its operating system.

Part 1: Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking

Go to Settings>> About>> Build number and tap it 7 times to unlock Developer options. 
Enable USB debugging by Settings> Developer Option > USB Debugging
Enable OEM unlock by Settings> Developer Option> Unlock OEM
Part 2: Download and Install Driver Lenovo Vibe K5

Download this driver here. Unrar this!  just install it. Now connect your phone via USB.  Once the configuration has completed, again restart your PC.

Part 3: Download Tools

Download Minimal ADB and Fastboot.zip ( TWRP included here and its twrp-k5-3.0.2-r1_shreps.img )

Download SuperSU v2.46

Part 4: File preparation

Copy and paste the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip file to your Phone’s external memory from your PC.
Unzip Minimal ADB and Fastboot.zip
Part 5: Root Lenovo Vibe K5

Open the “Minimal ADB and Fastboot” folder
Inside the folder you will get py_cmd.exe, just run as administrator
It will open a command prompt
Connect your phone to PC via USB, if you get any pop up on your phone, just allow it.
Now on the command prompt, type this command and hit enter.
adb devices
If everything ok, it will show list of devices attached like this
Now type bellow command and hit enter
adb reboot bootloader
Again type this and hit enter
fastboot devices
Now on your phone you will see something like Fastboot mode
Now type execute this command
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Turn off your phone, then you need to press and hold both Volume UP+Power button.
A screen appears with various options, just choose “recovery”
You will be in TWRP Recovery mode
Now select Install Zip then Select Install Zip from /sdcard and browse the SuperSu Zip file that you copy pasted earlier
Select the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip file, then choose Yes-Install SuperSu.zip to flash it.
Once it’s done, just go back the select reboot the select reboot system to reboot your phone.
Now your Lenovo Vibe k5 has been rooted.
