Preparation Before Begin

How to install Lineage OS on OnePlus 3:
Installing LineageOS on the OnePlus 3 is quite easy, and more so if you have flashed a ROM on to a phone in the past. However, before you install it, it must be kept in mind that the Lineage OS on OnePlus 3 is still an unofficial ROM.

For installing this ROM on to your smartphone, you would need two things – the ROM itself, and the Gapps packages. The Android Nougat Gapps packages are needed as the custom AOSP based ROMs do not feature the Google services.

First of all Download Oneplus 3 lineage os rom.
Now connect your smartphone to Pc using a Usb cable.
Now Copy the rom and paste it in the root of Sd card.
Now rename the rom to Update.zip.
Now you have to boot your smartphone in recovery mode.
To boot in recovery mode press power button and volume buttons together .
Dont release the keys until the smartphone boots in recovery mode.
Once the smartphone enters in recovery mode you will see many options :- 
Tap on Wipe.
Choose Wipe Data / Factory reset .
Choose Wipe Cache / Wipe Dalvik cache .
Wipe Cache Partition .
Now tap on Backup and make a backup of current installed os .
Now tap on Install .
Now Choose the Lineage rom for oneplus 3 you downloaded earlier .
As soon as the rom successfully installs on your device you will get a notification " Zip file flashed successfully " .
Now go back to the main screen and tap on Reboot .
The first reboot will take around 5 minutes to complete .
