How to Install HydrogenOS 3.0 on OnePlus 3/3
For Non-Rooted Users
1) Download the H2OS 3.0 Zip file from above and save it in your Internal Storage.
2) Turn off your device and Boot into the Recovery mode by press and hold “Volume Down+Power Button”
3) Now Wipe data and cache if you want a clean installation otherwise skip this step.
4) Now in Recovery select your preferred language and select Install from Local.
5) Now select the Zip and Click on Install to start the process.
6) Now wait until the installation complete and then Reboot your device.
7) Done.
Rooted Users
1) First of all , download the Hydrogen OS 3.0 ROM for your device and transfer it to the internal storage of your device.
2)Now boot into recovery mode on your OnePlus device.
3) As you’re in the TWRP recovery, make a complete nandroid backup of your device. You can follow our definitive guide for nandroid backup from here.
4) If you’re coming from a previous version of Hydrogen OS, you can dirty flash the ROM zip. Just hit Install, select the ROM and confirm to flash.
5) If you want to make a clean install, make a complete wipe of the device. To make a clean wipe, just do a complete factory reset and also wipe the Dalvik cache.
6)Now flash the H2OS ROM now. Choose the Install option from the recovery menu and choose the ROM zip from the file manager.
7) Once the flashing process is complete, reboot the device.
Upon the reboot, you will need to install the Google apps if you did a clean flash. Just download the APKs from the downloads section and install them on your device.
