The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.

Note:-
Unlocking the bootloader on Asus Zenfone 3 will wipe/delete all data on your device including photos, videos, apps/games and other files. So make sure you take a backup of your device’s data before unlocking the bootloader.

Preparation Before Begin
1. If you root your phone, it void your phone warranty, and u can’t get it back.
2. Before do all thing , developer Option menu must be unlocked and USB Debugging mode enabled from developer option.
3. Before u doing these steps , you hav to unblock ur bootloader your device.
4. You have to back up your android phone, before doing this. It will erase ur all data, contacts, and apps.
5. Your device must have 60% battery before do all these thing.

7. Download ADB and fastboot driver for windows or ADB and Fastboot for Mac and install it on your PC. This will also install your device driver.

How to Unlock Bootloader, Install TWRP and Root Asus ZenFone 3

How to Unlock Bootloader of Asus ZenFone 3
1) Enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times. Enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock from setting>developer option>. 

2) Download Master zip from above and Unzip the file

3) Turn off and then press and hold Volume Up + Power buttons. Now boot your Asus Zenfone 3 into bootloader mode.

4) Now double click on the below files according to your model number to unlock Asus Zenfone 3 bootloader.

0.unlock_ze520kl.bat (for ZE520KL) 
0.unlock_ze552kl.bat (for ZE552KL)

5) If the above bat file not work, then follow below commands to unlock it manually.

fastboot flash all unlock_ze520kl.raw (for ZE520KL)
or

fastboot flash all unlock_ze552kl.raw (for ZE552KL)

fastboot reboot bootloader

fastboot oem unlock-go

How to Install TWRP on Asus ZenFone 3 –

1) Enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times. Enable USB debugging and OEM Unlock from setting>developer option>.

2) Go to installation directory open ADB folder and open the command window thereby pressing and hold the ‘shift’ key and right-clicked anywhere in that folder.

3) Now connect your phone to PC and reboot the device into fastboot mode by typing

adb reboot bootloader

4) You are in the Fastboot mode now to check your connection by entering below command in command prompt. It will return your device serial number means your device properly connected. Check your driver if the above command is not responding.

fastboot devices

5) Type the below command correctly in command prompt and then press enter. It starts flashing recovery on your phone. (Rename the twrp-3.0.2-xxx.img to recovery.img)

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

6) With above command, you installed the custom recovery on Asus ZenFone 3.

How Root Asus ZenFone 3 –

1) To Root Asus ZenFone 3, first, download the SuperSu zip file from above.

2) Now save the SuperSu zip file to your phone.

3) Boot your device into Recovery mode (TWRP) by pressing ‘Volume Up + Power‘ button.

4) In TWRP recovery navigate to Install Zip and select ‘SuperSu.zip’ to Root Asus ZenFone 3.

5) Swipe to install SuperSu and reboot your device.

6) Or you can use the following command to push .supersu file into /data

adb push dot.supersu /data/.supersu

7) Now select “ADB Sideload” in TWRP menu and follow below command to push root files.

adb sideload SuperSU.zip

8) You have Done.
