Download and Install OxygenOS 4.5.5 for OnePlus 5 

After being rolled out the OxygenOS 4.5.4 update last month for OnePlus 5 with fix for 4G LTE issue, OnePlus released a new OxygenOS 4.5.5 update for OnePlus 5 with various fixes and optimizations. The new update further improves Wi-Fi connectivity, enhance voice calling, fixes certain apps not able to work under IPv6 network settings and more on OnePlus 5.

OxygenOS 4.5.5 is a minor update (the OTA just weighs 59MB), but includes various fixes and optimizations for OnePlus 5. Users will get the OTA notification for the update in the coming days. Check it by going to Settings > About > System update > check for updates. Alternatively you can download and install OxygenOS 4.5.5 OTA or full firmware manually.

How to Install OxygenOS 4.5.5 Update on OnePlus 5
For Non-Rooted Users

Method 1
1) Enable ‘USB debugging’ option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.

2) Download ADB and fastboot driver for windows orADB and Fastboot for Mac and install it on your PC.

3) Download the OxygenOS 4.5.5 for OnePlus 5 from above Copy ROM to a folder where adb installed.

4) Now Turn Off your phone and boot into recovery mode.

5) Choose Install from ADB Sideload

6) Now Connect your phone to Laptop/PC

7) On ADB folder press shift+right click and click on open command here.

8) Now check your connection by typing the below command

adb devices

if your device is listed, you’re ready to flash the ROM

9) Flash the Oxygen OS 4.5.5 on OnePlus 5 by typing below command

adb sideload File Name.zip

8) Now wait until the process complete and then Reboot the phone.

9) Done!

Method 2

1) Download OxygenOS 4.5.5 OTA zip file from above and save it on your internal phone memory.

2) Now Go to Settings > System Updates > Settings Icon > Local Upgrade & Select the OTA File.

3) Select upgrade now when the system prompts.

4) Now your device will reboot into stock recovery and flash the OTA.

5) The installer will flash the OTA itself and reboot the device.

6) Done.

Method 3 

TWRP Recovery Rooted users
If you are the Rooted Oneplus 5 user which unlocked the bootloader of Oneplus 5 and installed the TWRP recovery then you have to use this guide. If you face some problem during installation then read our detailed guide how to update Rooted Oneplus 5 with Latest OxyhgenOS.

1. Download the Full ROM from the above mention link and place it in the root folder of your OnePlus 5.

2. Boot your Phone in TWRP recovery mode. To do this Switch off your phone and Hold Power + Volume button.

3. Once you are in TWRP mode. Tap on Wipe > Advance Wipe > Select Dalvik & Cache > Swipe to Wipe .

4. Now, Go to Install and locate the OOS 4.5.5 Full Rom Zip & swipe to Install the ROM file.

5. Flash Magisk Or SuperSU to maintain root (Optional)


6. Wipe Dalvik & Cache and Reboot System.
